Body roller session

What you need to know

Before your session

We recommend you arrive 5-10 minutes before your session to guarantee a relaxed and enjoyable Body Roller experience. Please wear comfortable and fitted gym wear. (Avoid wearing clothes with strings, buttons and zippers.) Please remove any jewellery that could get stuck in the machine and remember to put your hair up before the start your session!

Please remember to drink plenty of water before, during and after your session to avoid dehydration. We also recommend having a light meal before your session to prevent any feelings of faintness or nausea. (Please don’t ignore these two points!)

If you are pregnant, have a medical condition or injury you must get the clear from your physician before using the Body Roller.

Re Place — Before your session

your first time

We highly recommend you do a full 45 minutes Body Roller session the first time you visit us to familiarise yourself with the machine, its functions and positions.

A member of staff will show you to your Body Roller, get you set you up on the machine and talk you through everything you need to know. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have. We encourage you to pay close attention to their advice, as it’s designed to maximise your experience while preventing any discomfort, such as injury, bruising, or soreness.

Once you are set up the staff will leave you to enjoy your session! Should you prefer to continue in total privacy you will have the option of closing the curtains around you, or if you prefer leave them open.

Re Place — your first time

your session

A full 45 minutes session targets the whole body. You stay for 3 minutes in each position, starting with the soles of your feet. This may tickle a little at first, but don’t worry, you’ll soon get used to the feeling!

The Body Roller will stop briefly every 3 minutes and the screen will indicate what to do next. The programme is very easy to follow and will slowly take you upwards through your whole body: every part of your legs, glutes, waist, stomach, back and lastly your arms and hands.

During your session you are able to socialise, work, read, listen to music/podcast, watch a movie (on your phone) or simply just enjoy the feeling of goodness!

Re Place — your session

After your session

After your session your body will feel nice and warm and you will most likely feel relaxed and uplifted at the same time.

It’s very important you keep drinking lots of water throughout the day after your session. Body Rollers promote lymphatic drainage and your lymphatic system will have been stimulated to move out toxins, excess fluids and waste. You will be going to the bathroom (to urinate) more frequently and if you don’t hydrate enough you may get dehydrated and start to feel dizzy or even nauseous.

You may feel a little sore the day after, this is nothing to worry about and as you get used to the machine it will get better! Some people bruise, this may happen if you apply too much pressure so be gentle at first!
